randomly reminded of a history class project I had to do in 9th grade where I had to pick a European country and do a presentation on it but the biggest component was to hand draw a map of said country with the major rivers and cities labeled and my autistic ass took that as a challenge and picked Russia and ended up making THE most detailed hand drawn (and I mean like I tried to get the shape EXACTLY right to the point it looked like I’d traced it) map that my teacher had ever seen anyone do for this project and I hand wrote out all the unpronounceable names (in Cyrillic btw) and every. single. river and mountain range in the EXACT spot it’s supposed to be in and COLOR COORDINATED the map with a legend in the corner of all the different colors and symbols.

it was probably the size of a full sized dinner table long and wide regular map. just for Russia btw. got it in two weeks late and got a C for it bc of how late it was but he literally kept it for future classes as an example of what it should look like. that’s how autistic i was lmao

You know, I too have heard of the rumors that supposedly after Austin and Vanessa broke up, he wanted his deceased mother's dog (Darla) back, but that Vanessa refused to give him back his mom's dog, and he was crushed about it. 😔

I also go by what Austin himself has said about Vanessa, and he's never said anything but nice things about her...even AFTER their breakup. His recent Esquire interview said a bit about their relationship and how he feels towards her. If he really was holding a grudge or something, then he could have just said something cordial and kept it simple. I don't think he would have said all of the things he did in that interview if he was somehow upset with her about her keeping his mom's dog.

What probably REALLY happened was that the dog (which had lived with them as a couple after his mom died) had grown accustomed to living with him and Vanessa, and Austin knew that with his crazy filming and traveling schedule, he probably wouldn't be able to care for the dog as well as he wanted to. Vanessa was probably already attached to the dog after all these years, so Austin probably just told her that she could keep the dog.

I am not a big fan of Vanessa... mainly due to some of the stuff she said during covid, and her damaging a national park with her inscriptions (things which she has long since apologized for, so I'm over that), but I don't hate her at all. I actually liked her with Zac AND with Austin... 🤷🏾‍♀️ I will always view her with nostalgia due to HSM. 😊

I just think that for Shippers who heavily ship Austin and Kaia together and who want her to be "his forever woman", I sometimes get the feeling that some of them HAVE to hate Vanessa, because it's so obvious that Austin was with her the longest, and that their relationship seemed way different from his current relationship with Kaia.

Maybe it's a way of coping?? Kind of like how Jacdaya shippers hated on Tom so BADLY because he was probably a threat lol. 😅 I'm just saying... Sometimes shippers hate on the "old" boyfriend or girlfriend because parts of them feel threatened on some level with their ship I guess lol.

im not even done writing yet. the post dialogue was so awesome and its so cool to see hod grow :) and for my agents, story wise things are about to kick way up. bella already has black swan, so her has her dog legs now, yuis about to corrode majorly as well, and im already on netz's meltdown. so yeah!

I love the main cast in this show; Pete Steph and Grace are such solid leads and I love all their shenanigans, I love Richie and Ruth too even though it seemed a bit obvious they were going to be sacrificed to the kill count. The romance between Steph and Pete was also really heartwarming and holy shit the scene where Steph is about to sacrifice Pete... even if I was all but sure they wouldn't go for it I was still really afraid they'd have to go through with it

Even if I saw the plot twist coming of Grace being the one to sacrifice what she cherishes most, I still lost my shit when it actually happened

Honestly the whole musical had so many moments that had me laughing out loud, it's been a while since something hit me as hard in the laughs department as this did and I'm so happy

I love Grace's turn to villainy right at the end too, it makes sense because she also has a similar villain heel-turn at the end of one of the Nightmare Time episodes. It genuinely felt like such a NT kind of ending, I love it.

The songs are probably the weaker part; though the audio quality wasn't amazing on the digital ticket so that might play a part in it, + not being able to find lyrics for most of the songs made it a bit of a pain to follow along. But even so, the songs didn't quite hit on the level of the previous two musicals or even a good chunk of the stuff from Nightmare Time. Though Best of You will most likely make its way onto my rotation once a higher quality version gets released.

Spent most of the musical wondering when the lore would kick in and which Lord in Black would feature this time around; guess it was all of them LMAO. I guess part of me wishes they had focused on one more, but that's just me. It was still really cool to see them pop in!

Like I still recognize its usefullness sometimes, but many times I'll see phrases like "POC are usually considered dangerous and threatening". Like I'm sorry, but in what world are asians considered scary or dangerous, or light skinned hispanics and native americans? It's literally only black and brown people that are seen this way. I dont know why so many people like to group every single non-white together when our experiences are often very different. One of the best things my school ever did was when an unknown staff member wrote in my file that I should be allowed to draw in classes. And you know what? I did well in most of my classes! I still had weak subjects like everyone else, but I absorbed all the information as well as or (or sometimes better than ;}) my peers! Keep drawing as much as you can! And advocate for yourself to continue doing so!!! I got really lucky and can attest that teachers that do shit like this are WRONG, and in some cases just fucking bullies.

Okay Tumblr, let's talk gender (I know, your favorite topic) my preface on why this topic matters to me is: I'm autistic ( diagnosed moderate to severe autism) I'm nonbinary trans ( in a way that most non-autistic people don't understand and actually look down on)  and I went to college for gender study ( Mostly for intersex studies but a lot of my research was around non-binary and trans identities) I will be using the term autism as pants when I have experience with however when ADHD is part of the study I will use ND which stands for neurodivergent and yes this is going to be about xenogenders and neopronouns.

autism can affect gender the same way autism can affect literally every part of an identity. a big thing about having autism is the fact that it completely can change how you view personhood and time and object permanence and gender and literally all types of socially constructed ideas. let me also say hear that just because Society creates and enforces an idea does it mean that it doesn't exist to all people it just me that there is no nature law saying that it's real and the “rules” for these ideas can change and delete and create as time and Society evolves and changes.  gender is one of those constructs.

Now I'll take it by you reading this you know what transgender people are  (if you don't understand what a trans person is send me an ask and I'll type you up a pretty little essay lmao,  or Google it but that's a scary thought sense literally any Source or website can come up on Google including biased websites so be careful I guess LOL) anyway to be super basic trans people are anyone who doesn't identify as the gender they were assigned at Birth (yes that includes non-binary people I could do a whole nother essay about that shit how y'all keep spreading trying to separate non-binary people from the trans umbrella)  some people don't like to use the label and that is totally fine by the way.

now autistic people to view the world in a way differently than allistic (neurotypical) ppl do.  we don't take everything people teach us at 100% fact and we tend to question everything and demand proof and evidence for things before we can set it as a fact in our brains. This leads to why a lot of autistic people are atheist (although a lot of religions and this is not bashing on religious people at all I am actually a Jewish convert)  this questioning leads to a lot of social constructs being ignored or not understood At All by a lot of autistic people and personally I think that's a good thing.  allistics take everything their parents and teachers and schools teach them as fact until someone else says something and then they pick which ones to believe. autistic people study and research and learn about a topic before forming an opinion and while this may lead to them studying and believing very biased material and spitting it out as fact it can also lead them to try and Discover it is real by themselves.

5% autistic people who did the study were trans or questioning. it was also equal between the Sexes fun fact. that may not seem like a lot till you realize that the national average is only .7% that's literally over 700% higher than the national average. That's so many! and that's just in America.

 in Holland there was a study in 2010 “ nearly 8% of the more than 200 Children and adolescents referred to a clinic for gender dysphoria also came up positive on a assessment for ASD” they weren't even testing for ADHD so the numbers could be even higher!

now I want to talk about a  certain section of the trans umbrella that a lot of autistic people fall under called the non-binary umbrella. non-binary means anything that isn't just male or just female. it is not one third gender and non-binary doesn't mean that you don't have a gender. just clearing that up since cis people keep spreading that. non-binary is an umbrella term for any of the infinite genders you could use or create. now this is where I'm going to lose a bunch of you and that's okay because you don't have to understand our brains or emotions To respect us as real people. not many allistics can understand how we see and think and relate to things and that's okay you don't have to understand everything but just reading about this could be so much closer to respecting us for Who We Are from you've ever been and that's better than being against us just for existing.

xenogenders and neopronouns are a big argument point on whether or not people “believe” in non binary genders but a big part of those genders is that they originated from ND communities and are ways that we can try to describe what gender means us in a way that cis or even allistic trans people just can't comprehend or ever understand. Same with MOGAI genders or sexualities. A lot of these are created as a way to somehow describe an indescribable relationship with gender that is so personal you really cant explain it to anyone who isnt literally the same as you.

Even in studies done with trans autistic people a large amount of them dont even fall on a yes or no of having a gender at all and fall in some weird inbetween where you KINDA have a gender but its not a gender in the sense that others say it is but its also too much of a gender so say youre agender. And this is the kind of stuff that confuses allistic trans people and makes them think nonbinary genders are making stuff up for attention, which isnt true at all we just cant explain what it feels like to BE a trans autistic person to anyone who doesnt ALREADY know how it feels.

In this study out of the ppl questioned almost HALF of the autistic trans individuals had a “Sense of identity revolving around interests” meaning their gender and identity was more based off what they liked rather than boy or girl. That makes ppl with stuff like vampgender or pupgender make a lot more sense now doesnt it? We see that even in the study: “My sense of identity is fluid, just as my sense of gender is fluid […] The only constant identity that runs through my life as a thread is ‘dancer.’ This is more important to me than gender, name or any other identifying features… even more important than mother. I wouldn't admit that in the NT world as when I have, I have been corrected (after all Mother is supposed to be my primary identification, right?!) but I feel that I can admit that here. (Taylor)” and an agreement from another saying “Mine is Artist. Thank you, Taylor. (Jessie)” now dont you think if they grew up with terms like artistgender or dancergender they would just YOINK those up right away????

In fact “An absence of a sense of gender or being unsure of how their gender should “feel” was another common report” because as ive said before in this post AUTISTIC PEOPLE DONT SEE GENDER THE WAY ALLISTIC PEOPLE SEE IT. therefore we wont use the same terms or have the same identities nor could we explain it to anyone who doesnt already understand or question the same way! Participants even offered up quotes such as “As a child and even now, I don't ‘feel’ like a gender, I feel like myself and for the most part I am constantly trying to figure out what that means for me (Betty)” and also “I don't feel like a particular gender I'm not even sure what a gender should feel like (Helen)”

Now i know this isnt going to change everyones minds on this stuff but i can only hope that it at least helped people feel like theyre not broken and not alone in their feelings about this. You dont have to follow allistic rules. You dont have to stop searching inside for who you really wanna be. And you dont have to pick or choose terms forever because just as you grow and evolve so may your terms. Its okay to not know what or who you are and its okay to identify as nonhuman things or as your interests because what you love and what you do is a big part of who you are and shapes you everyday. Its not a bad thing! Just please everyone, treat ppl with respect and if you dont understand something that doesnt make it bad or wrong it just means its not for you. And thats okay.

How I Would Humble NHL Players

An essay written by bigboigritty. 

I would humble hockey players the only way I know how to, by sending them to Australia. Let’s suppose that they have decided to hold the All Star game over here (forget about it’s usual date) (forget that some players I have listed below might not be invited) (and while you're at it, please forget that Australia’s rinks are Not Good).

I think that they would suffer but in an entertaining way so it’s fine. 

First of all, their biggest concern is getting sunburnt. It would effect all of their dumb asses but I’m particularly worried about Pierre-Luc Dubois and Mitch Marner. Boys are practically translucent. Vince Dunn would be fine, he’d probably wear a shirt most of the time which is a very smart decision. 

You may wonder why I didn’t mention Nolan Patrick because I am a certified slut for him, well I don't think he would have a problem. He would spend most of the time inside and when he joins the others, I think his Virgo ass would reapply sunscreen. Maybe he would burn slightly but I don't think it'd be enough to make him uncomfortable. 

Another thing that I think they will gain from this experience is a higher pain tolerance. Now you’re probably thinking, “Zoe they are NHL players so they can handle pain.” Wrong.

Real pain is running barefoot on cement at theme parks while you race to get to the next ride. Also getting into the car and having to avoid touching every piece of metal to not get branded like a cow. Or better yet, when the heat gets so bad that there’s a black out because everyone has their air conditioning turned on.

Don’t get me wrong, I know that other countries have scary animals but I would pay to see them panic over ours. Crocodiles here can grow up to 5.2 metres / 17 feet. We have a box jellyfish season where it’s advised to avoid swimming or wear wetsuits for coverage. Funnel web spiders can survive underwater for hours by trapping air bubbles around their skin. We have several of the worlds deadliest snakes present across the country. 

Listen, I don't want anyone to get injured but the constant fear that they would have when doing anything would be enough to make me happy.

My biggest question is who would survive in the shady areas, who would survive the eshays?

Under no circumstances can you look them in the eyes or cross their path. They are not to be feared individually but in groups caution is advised. I think the players would attempt to assert dominance and that is simply not an option. You are better off to ignore the eshay.

Nolan would have no issues here if im being honest. He is big and I don't think they’d find it worth it to fuck with him. But you know who they would target? Matthew Tkachuk. “Where are you going pretty boy?” “Oi braa did we hurt your feelings ya pussy cunt?” They would make fun of his hair in particular. 

Travis Konecny would be an eshay. I don't think I need to make further comment. (So would Louis Tomlinson but I am not a 1D account and I will continue to repeat that until it’s true.)

I would also give them a few iconic tasks to get the true Australian experience. Activities for the ‘vacation’ include triathlon events, beach flags, bush walking and climbing the harbour bridge. They could attend a cricket match but they tend to like golf so unfortunately they would probably enjoy this :(

AFL is an extremely popular sport here and I think they would loose their shit when they learn the rules of this game. No protective equipment is used other than mouthguards, that's it. That’s all you get. And jumping onto other players for leverage is encouraged. I would thoroughly enjoy the fights that would break out because of this.

Another task would be to use a map to make their way to a servo for a slurpee. The catch is that they will be required to pass through multiple alleyways. Also, the season is Spring, it’s swooping season mother fuckers. Let’s see how brave you are when birds chase you down the block. Personally I don’t think any of them would pass this test, maybe McDavid because the birds may not be able to detect a heartbeat.

Australian food would disgust them, I just know it. Things that they would need to try are a Bunnings sausage sanga, fairy bread, lamingtons, baked beans on toast, Milo and Vegemite. Because I’m me I would give them no butter with their Vegemite. 

An after thought I had was money so I’m editing this to include it. Everything here is EXPENSIVE so they would need to learn how to budget. Upon doing research, Canadians would be fine but the Americans will be mad.

Another after thought was the fact that they won’t be able to drive (or at least drive well) here. We drive on the left and not the right, same goes for walking paths too. I can sense a lot of them bumping into people.

Where I think players would live based on vibes alone:

Carter Hart and Vince Dunn: North Shore Beaches, NSW. Daddy’s money. Carter probably did Nippers whereas Vince was a skater boy. 

Travis Konecny: Darwin, NT. Would 100% live there and enjoy it. He would try to conduct crocodile tours but gets assigned to feeding the baby crocs and doing shows for little kids. 

Tyson Barrie: Perisher, NSW. One of the only ski resorts we have to offer, major friendly mountain man energy.

Nolan Patrick: Byron Bay, NSW. @antoineroussel enlightened me, steering away from my original thought of Katoomba, NSW. Byron Bay is a magnet for hippies and links rainforest to the ocean. Chris Hemsworth and his family also live there.

William Nylander: Perth, WA. I don’t know much about Perth other than they wouldn’t shut up about partying while the other states had to quarantine. For some reason, I also associate Perth with Tik Tok. 

Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid: Melbourne CBD, VIC. These two would live in the same apartment building in the city, Connor one level above Sidney. It’s the most boring looking block of them all and Crosby would send in complaints to the landlord about McDavid pacing during the night.

Tyler Seguin: Surfers Paradise, QLD. Party central, not many people are actually from this area and he would be sure to tell absolutely everyone that he was. I also think he would get a Meter Maid tattoo, specifically on his leg. Has definitely slept on the beach before because he couldn’t find his way home.

Jamie Benn: Hobart, TAS. Tasmania is usually forgotten about. Another one with mountain man energy except he is more creepy than friendly.

Mitch Marner: Fitzroy, VIC. @antoineroussel is responsible for this one too. Hipster central, makes you question how the hell someone so young can have so much money. Would chug $45 wine and not blink an eye.

(honourable mentions include = Sammy Blais: Hobart, Tas. Once again no comment on Tasmania. TJ Oshie: Cairns, QLD. Would do reef tours. Haydn Fleury: Western Sydney, NSW. Haydn would 100% own a ute or a white holden commodore and you can’t tell me otherwise. Roman Josi: Adelaide, SA. Small town history teacher vibes.)

In conclusion, the NHL should send their players over here to teach them some manners and while they’re at it, management should bring themselves too. Nolan Patrick could pass as an Australian if he built up a tan. (So does Nylander in this picture but we won’t talk about that.) Come over anytime baby, I’m free.

Servo - A service station, also known as a petrol or gas station. Example: 7/11

Theme park - An amusement park. Can be said in reference to both normal parks and water parks and usually means those in QLD. Example: Six Flags

Swooping season - August to October in Australia. When birds attack and chase humans and / or pets for getting close to their babies. Magpies are notoriously bad for this. 

Bunnings sausage sanga - A cheap feed / meal found at the front of a hardware and gardening store called Bunnings. Made up of white bread, sausage, onion and your choice of sauce.

Fairy bread - White bread with margarine and topped with 100s and 1000s / sprinkles. 

Meter Maids - Women who work along the beach dressed in gold bikinis. They top up parking meters to save tourists from getting fined and will often stop for photos. 

Nippers - Surf lifesaving programs carried out for children between 5 and 14. 

Ute - A pick up truck.

Eshay - A person who partakes in drug use, graffiti, listens to EDM and targets victims in groups. Below is the typical style of an eshay.

I have received about seven anons about "that * clown" and all I have to say is - I completely understand how irritating that person is but entertaining them with my posts is not how I want to roll. They and their friends are an obsessed group of people and I don't want to be hounded by them like some bloggers are.

These people have no fandom etiquette and are unlikely to adhere to what they demand from the fandom. If the girl who called me a c*nt had kept her trap shut and not started to tag people, demanding answers from people about the same shit that her own friends have pulled I wouldn't have intervened, but I'm really tired of their fake outrage and projection. So @ Jonsas and whichever Martell fan is planted on our blogs, this is all on you. You have annoyed people to this level and if you want to scream cry whine about it, then do so, because you brought it on yourselves. Don't tag people, don't interact with people and then get all upset about people replying to you lmao.

Some time ago, one of them made a post including this - "We have a right to stand up to our abusers" effectively justifying doxxing someone over nothing at all, so they are definitely not doe eyed little girls who don't realize what they are condoning. And also, these Jonsas who like to cry "let us ship our ship don't start drama with us" ..... keep Dany and Arya's names out of your goddam metas and go on with your ship. Literally no one would give a shit then. Your insistence about writing metas on topics and characters which you clearly have no understanding of are only making people despise you more. We don't want you to write about our favourite characters, we don't want to see you people spread your fanon bullshit on people's posts and on content creators' hard work.

THE POINT (if your attention span wavers too much): Nobody would care about you or your ship if you stopped coming up with negative stuff about Dany and Arya. - ok so yes i did quit teaching! i’m working as a director of professional development & school climate for a queer non profit in socal + doing some dei consulting in youth sport. it’s pretty cool overall albeit deeply disorganized lol — but a WAY better work life balance than teaching so for my first year out i’m p happy! i have no desire to stay in this position at the np long term but it’s all good for now :)
